The Palisades Park Police Department is committed to serve and protect the safety of the public. Currently, the department has sworn police, special, and traffic officers to enforce various laws of the Borough. The department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.

The Palisades Park Records Bureau’s main responsibility is to handle all resident sticker procedures, producing letters of good conduct, and printing of accident reports.

RESIDENT STICKER PROCEDURE

The resident applying must provide the following documentation in person to the Records Department:

1. Driver’s License
2. Registration Card
3. Insurance Card
4. Two Different Proofs of Residency (PSE&G, Cable, Phone, Bank Documents, etc.)
5. Completed Resident Sticker Application

REQUEST FOR ACCIDENT REPORT

1. 1 – 10 pages ($0.75 per page); 11 – 20 pages ($0.50 per page); 21 pages or more ($0.25 per page)
2. Completed Application for Request for Accident Report

Copies requested to be mailed must have a self-addressed stamped envelope or pay postage. Price for postage will be determined by weight.

Copies of reports may be picked up Monday – Friday, 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.

Please note that accident reports take 5-7 business days to be produced by the police department; please call ahead to confirm that the report is ready for pickup.

LETTERS OF GOOD CONDUCT

The resident applying must provide the following documentation in person to the Records Department:

1. $5.00 Fee
2. Two Different Proofs of Residency (PSE&G, Cable, Phone, Bank Documents, etc.)
3. Completed Application for a Borough of Palisades Park Letter of Good Conduct
